About This Splash Pad
Wellington Aquatics Center features separate competition and recreation pools with distinct amenities for different visitor needs. The recreation side includes a zero-depth entry pool with an attached play structure, plus Florida's first NinjaCross obstacle course—a retractable over-water challenge requiring a 48-inch minimum height and passing swim test. Additional amenities include 1- and 3-meter diving boards, lounge chairs, cabanas, shaded structures, concessions, locker rooms, and changing facilities. The center operates year-round with extended summer hours (8 AM–8 PM weekdays, noon–8 PM Sundays) from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and standard hours (9 AM–7 PM weekdays, noon–7 PM Sundays) the rest of the year; water temperatures are maintained at 83–85 degrees on the recreation side.
