About This Splash Pad
Water Mine Family Swimmin' Hole is a water park within Lake Fairfax Park featuring multiple water slides including Big Pete, Little Pete, and three 3-story Prospectors Plummet slides, a 725-foot lazy river called Rattlesnake River, an activity pool with covered wagon and animal-themed play elements, water-filled ore cart showers, Boomtown multi-level spray playground, Tenderfoot Pond with toddler slide and bubblers, Box Canyon Crossing log walk obstacle course, and a tot spray pad area with interactive features and fountains. The park opens seasonally starting May 23 for the 2026 season and offers daily tickets available online or at the gate, with season passes providing over 60% savings on admission; children ages two and younger enter free. The park includes picnic areas and restrooms on-site.
