About This Splash Pad
The Splash at Fossil Trace is a 10-acre outdoor aquatic facility in Golden featuring multiple pools and water attractions for families. The zero-depth leisure pool includes a play structure, small slides, spray fountains, and a 500-gallon dumping bucket, while a separate shallow splash pad serves younger swimmers. Two large tube and body slides—Splish (180 feet) and Splash (151 feet)—offer thrilling rides, and a 25-meter lap pool with 8 lanes accommodates serious swimmers. The grounds also feature an expansive sandbox with interactive structures, lounge chairs, picnic tables, shaded areas, a bath house with changing facilities and lockers, a pro shop, and on-site concessions.
