About This Splash Pad
Sunset Park's spray play area is housed within an Amusement Center located inside the park's concession stand, alongside a historic miniature train, antique carousel, and bug ride. Admission to the Amusement Center is $5 per person and grants unlimited access to all attractions; children under 5 enter free. The facility operates seasonally from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, with extended hours (1–7 PM Tuesday–Saturday, 1–5 PM Sunday) during summer months. This 25-acre venue on the Tar River also offers four picnic shelters, a playground, and concessions serving ice cream and snow cones.
