About This Splash Pad
SandVenture Aquatic Park in Shakopee features a sand-bottom chlorinated pool with a zero-depth beach entry, making it a unique blend of traditional pool and beach amenities. Water attractions include a 300-foot waterslide, two 12-foot drop slides, a pirate ship jumping platform, shallow-end splash pad features, and water sports like basketball and volleyball. The facility offers free admission and includes changing rooms, lockers, restrooms, a themed playground, parking, and on-site food through a partnership with Tommy's Malt Shop. Special programming includes Tot Time sessions on Friday and Saturday mornings from 9:15–10:45 a.m. (June 12–August 15, 2026) for infants and toddlers ages 0–6, as well as swim lessons throughout the summer.
