About This Splash Pad
Our Special Harbor is a fully accessible spray park in Franconia Park with a Chesapeake Bay theme, featuring computerized water mazes, water buckets, and a spraying osprey nest. A quieter beach area with soft bubblers and interactive water tables serves younger children. Admission is free for walk-in visitors on a first-come, first-served basis, though group reservations of 10 or more are available for a fee ($7 for Fairfax County residents, $12 for non-residents). The facility operates during summer season with hours listed under Franconia Rec Center, and has a maximum capacity of 247 people.
