About This Splash Pad
NSU Aquatic Center in Davie operates three pools serving the university community and visitors. The Competition Pool is one of Florida's largest outdoor pools with depths ranging from 5 to 16.5 feet and convertible between Olympic and NCAA standards, while a separate Diving Well includes two 1-meter and one 3-meter boards. The RecPlex Leisure Pool, an indoor half-Olympic sized facility up to 5 feet deep, operates year-round with lounge chairs and shaded areas and is home to the learn-to-swim program. The center provides lap swimming Monday–Friday from noon to 2 p.m. at the Competition Pool, and the Leisure Pool is open Monday–Friday 8 a.m.–8 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m.–4 p.m., and Sunday noon–4 p.m.; open swim access requires an NSU SharkID.
