About This Splash Pad
Ewert Aquatic Center is undergoing a major renovation in Joplin that will include a new splash park set to be the largest of its kind in the area. The facility is located at 846 Murphy Boulevard and will serve as a year-round community destination with water play during warmer months. Construction is expected to run from September 2025 through May 2026, with the splash park accompanied by additional park improvements including a playground, ice skating ribbon, basketball courts, and an amphitheater.
