About This Splash Pad
Adventure Playground features a wood pyramid, a concrete and granite climbing mound with integrated tunnel and slide, and an elaborate interactive water feature designed to encourage creative exploration. Originally opened in 1967 and rebuilt in 2015, this Central Park playground maintains its distinctive adventure-style design with custom forms rather than standard equipment. The playground operates daily from 6 AM to 1 AM and welcomes families, kids, and toddlers.
